  1. Was really good to see some back squats today. I think that they are right there with the dead lift as far as working the ba-jesus out of you. It doesn't get more day to day than those two lifts.

  4. So this was a chance to see how much my squat had improved in the past 1 1/2 months that I have been doing Crossfit. My max when I started was 185.

    1-205
    2-225
    3-225
    4-247 (Fail, I didn't go deep enough)
    5-235
    6-235
    7-240

    Looks like a 55# gain in 45 days. I am more than pleased with those results.

    After the workout I was sitting there watching Raif go ape nuts on the rower so I decided to take a crack on establishing a 500m row baseline. Finished in a totally gassed 1:33.8 with Raif pushing me. I know most of already realize this, but that rower is one hell of a workout.
