So far some chick codenamed "Ransome" has the time to beat of 13:13 and a respectable weight of 95lbs. That according to the board. Perchance everyone's hands have been rendered useless. See you at 1630.

I was thinking that either a lot of people found religion or you are going to get a nice box of bottles.

I'm just saying...'The Prisoner, 2007' is commonly found at Central Market, Wine Styles, and Goody Goody. Small price to pay...

Thanks for the tip today Raif, you saved my paws. The 115lbs hang cleans x 15 got heavy fast. Muchas gracias, Silverback.

This will be worth one free 'questionable' posting.

Mo, are you the athlete currently known as "Ransome"?

Ransome is none other than our boy Travis.

Umm, sorry about that Travis. Rhonda, love, your post was accidentally deleted like Raif's. The buttons are so very close together and once they're gone, they're gone.

Wasn't me....I wrote a song about myself or something...I don't do Thursdays yo...I have a doctors note...and have we talked about wallballs lately? Because I am walking like I have a stick shoved up my butt.

Buzzard @ 135lbs. Epic.

Great job Buzz...I should have gone heavier on the overheads. I did however use the heavy tire. And yes 13:13 is a respectable time. But i'm not a chick, I think?
Lastly Ransom has no "e" at the end. It's my middle name.

Ransom, AKA "Travis"

13:02 w/ 135 ground-to-overhead. Freaking good workout. Got smoked by...Jason? Crap dude, I forgot your name... My bad. He had some time of 12:45 or something. Also, the with the pullups: 16 dead hang, 7 dead hang, 18 kipping. See you guys at 6am!

Glad you dudes liked "Silverback". There's more where that came from...this is only the begining.

I was scared of this one all day. I have never done Grace before and this was it, with a damn work out around it. 16 something with 135#. Great job on this everyone! Those of you that didnt do it, you really missed out!

had a healthy fear of the silverback so instead did the ocho with 95 for comparison sake. time was 5:47. too light but a nice welcome home wod for the hipster. did i mention that i hurt my hip. also i really love wallballs. wallballs are like the best ever. i do them to workout, or to warm up, or to burnout at the end of a hard workout.
but seriously, nice work to all who took on the silverback today. you guys had great times and you did “grace” in the middle of your workout! special props to scorcho who apparently had access to free weights in germany, and to buzzard (nice grace!). steven did awesome after a tough week of workouts. frickin castillo has come a long way fast! and of course ali who manned up on the 65 c&j's and the big tire. i would also like to thank the academy as the band plays me off.

This was great! The tire flips KILLED me but I loved the clean and jerks. It feels so cool throwing the bar down. Happy to come out of this without bloody shins. Really good turn out at the 4:30 and 6 classes.

It is nice to be back and getting into a groove. Showed up today and saw some muscled up dude throwing 135 on the bar and instantly figured that must be Steven. Luckily I was pretty rested for this one so I was able to keep up with everybody.

Great turnout today at the 6pm class. A fun group to workout with. It seems like we have quite a few new faces since I left. Looking forward to meeting everybody.

JBalls where have you been?

I have been in Germany the past three weeks in pursuit of the world's best beer.

The Air Force picked up my travel tab because I was at Ramstein Air Base for my annual military tour. A lot of hard work but I enjoyed some downtime as well. The bummer part was we flew back commercial so I couldn't load up the plane with German beverages for all of us as I had planned. So much incredible beer for so cheap.

Don't worry Mo, I have been keeping up with you via the blog. I checked it daily in Germany to get my laughs before I headed off to work.

Glad you are back!Did you find the world's best beer? I am a beer wimp. Had a Lawnmower the other night at Pop's. I asked the bartender girly for a recommendation based on my being a lightweight..she did good. :) I suspect after hearing my hick tawlk she could picture me pushing a mower in cutoffs and was giggling to herself.

CrossFit GSX said...

Pop's rocks. Good people, great wine. Mo looks pissed in that pic.

Mo said...

Pissed? Dang I missed the mark! I was going for young, smart, and appealing.

Welp you'd be the wine expert. I was with a cigar connoisseur (oof! Boy did I have that spelled wrong til I checked) at the time. I did get two house warmin' bottles this week tho...Box Car 2007 uhh something and that chardonnay with the fire breathin' bear on it.

CrossFit GSX said...

Sorry, Mo. Pissed in small version, total vixen once enlarged.
