gnarly looking tears there. these two movements together are tough on the hands. try to "finger" your grip as much as you can. this will be easier to do on the kb swings than on the pull ups. also, try not to let the kb spin in your hand. just lift it up to where the ball stays hanging down not turning up toward the ceiling at the top of your swing.

I'm glad I'm going to miss...i mean sorry i'm going to miss this one. I've done three days and need a break. Looking foward to some stength work on friday. Chuck, Newley great job that looks like a tough WOD.

This one ripped the hands all up...bad. As rx'd 1.5pood 12:55.

Tom showed up to the 8:30 class and smoked us all with a sub 12 time. Great job from Sharon on doing all pull ups without assistance.

Good point on the grip Ken C, as you can see from the pic I'm holding that KB with what looks like just the tips of my fingers! I guess it kept my hands from looking like Newly's.

Today just wasnt my day. Just when the rip in my hand is almost healed, pull up 13 of the last set it opens up again. Awesome job today everyone, this was a tough one.

I don't get rips from the KB's, although sometimes it wears little holes in the outside of my pinky fingers. I always, however, get rips from pullups. I just can't seem to get the finger grip going on pullups.
