Good times but a less than stellar score of 242. It had to be the mountain biking and kayaking last night right? Nope, I'm just not the animal some of you other dudes are! Can't wait to see some nasty scores.

Ransom finished strong!

Chuck, your less than stellar is my goal. Did 237 this morning on first ever Fight Gone Bad. So this is Fight Gone Bad. First time with SDHP...kind of like this crazy thing. Honored to be carrying the clipboard for Mo this morning. -Bob

You looked good to me Chuck. I mean you looked like you did good. Yep - that is what I meant.

I love you too padna Bob! You really sucked at those SDHP's at first. Glad you didn't suck so bad later.

did a version of this yesterday. task priority fgb. 20 of everything for time w 1 min rest between rounds. subbed burpees for box jumps bc of my stupid heels. much harder. transition from burpees to push press was a new level of suck.

I don't ever hear much love from the 1130 class on the blog. What's up that? That class has some great Crossfitters. Ryan does an awesome job and is making immpressive improvents. Watch out for him.

My fight went bad to a score of 288. I was a touch nervous to even do this WOD. As I watched and scored Carly I started wondering, why do this? She did a badass job and set the bar high for all the girls this afternoon.

Goodluck to everyone this afternoon hoping to see some high scores!

First time on FGB and I was scared, and as I found out for good reason. 279 and dead. I was hoping to break 300, maybe next time. Thank you Ken for the tips and to Sarah for keeping my score. Can't wait to do it again! Awesome job everyone at the 430!!!

Buzzard, that's tough as nails. You'll get 300 next time. I wanted to stay and watch you but I had kid duty. What were your worst and best rounds?

Kristy said...

What a fun night! 6PM class did awesome - half had never done FGB and scored quite well. And I have to say the ladies kicked butt on this one, they know who they are :) Tucker - very cool to have you join us! Too bad your schedule does not allow it to happen more often.

Ali said...

Ahh, I love that WOD! I had that nervous excitement walking into GSX. 288 with room for improvement. Thanks for the tips Ken, I think 300 is possible with practice. Good to see Mike D. out there tonight. Kristy, you really set the bar high for us ladies! Caroline, awesome job. Once you get those wallballs down, you're going to be hard to beat.

First time w/FGB. Son of a B! That toasted me, thanks to Jared busting my balls I scored 314. Ken C "the godfather" said the wall balls were a bit low, but I'll take it anyway. Especially since it was a first run. Push press was the strongest with 46 reps on the 1st rnd totaling 99. Need to work on the SDHP...awkward. Great job to the 4:30! The ladies put forth an outstanding showing!

REst day manana, 12oz curls for time in the evening!

great job everybody on fight gone bad. that workout is a real threshold test in crossfit. it finds out who the quitters are and nobody quit.

congrats kristy and ali on some huge pr's. we gotta get carolyn a wall ball helmet.

Did the Task Priority FGB also. 20 of everything for time w 1 min rest between rounds. Also subbed burpees for box jumps bc of my knee. The burpees were the worst part!

Andy, rounds 2 and 3 sucked because of obvious reasons. All in all it was a learning experience though and I cant wait to do it again. During the first round I would stop at about 10 seconds and start transitioning to the next station. That was a mistake, and extra 10 seconds at 4 stations could have maybe meant hitting or breaking 300. As per Kens advice I tried to use the rowing as active recovery and then hit the next two stations hard. I thought I would do a bit better on the wall balls and a bit worse on the box jumps. All of it needs work.

CAttaway said...

264, and it took every bit of self control not to barf in the parking lot. And I obviously wasn't kidding about sucking at wall balls - I can't catch the damn thing, except with my face. A helmet would be good, maybe with a mouth guard.

Thanks a lot. No-fly list for sure.

Did the workout tonight. Got a 312 thanks to Josh and Jessie yelling at me to keep going. Almost didn't do it but Buzzard talked me into it. 2 hours later and I am still pooped!
