Hope we see some people getting their first muscle up today. I should be in about 415 or so today and will be more than happy to help the best I can with anyone trying to get their first. Maybe next we can see Nate pop up on a WOD...

Well it wasn't me! Gave it a few shots and I just can't pull it up and through.

120 Pull ups and 120 ring dips done in 23:22.

Griffin and Travis knocked it out!

Chris and Trevor will be hosting a one day clinic on Saturday, August the 15th, begining at 10am.

The clinic will cover Muscle-Ups, Pull-Ups, kipping versions of both, handstand push-ups, and more.

The big D Jones and I are thinking about throwing together a softball team to show FT-dub what training over various time and modal domains can do, and to just go out and make it rain. We would welcome any and all sluggers from GSX to join us on this quest. Don't let talent and ability hold you back, I'm counting on Dwight to carry the load while I drink beer and heckle umpires... What an awesome day...between the 430 and 6 class I think I saw 4 people get their first muscle up! The 430 class had 4 people doing the wod as rx'd! They had to share rings! Awesome job to everyone today that both got muscle ups and suffered through 120 damn pull ups/dips.

Great job to everyone today. I was really impressed by how many people where either really close to or completed a muscle up. Hopefully after the Muscle Up Clinic on the 15th I will be able to beat today's time.

Muscle up's, here I come! I didn't get my first today, but I know it will happen soon! Gotta rest the hands though!

A little advice for those of you who are as stubborn as I am:

Tape your hands properly and stop kipping if your hands look like they encountered a fire cracker accident!! OUCH!

Ok, did Buzzard program this week? Yesterday du's and today muscle ups? I'm actually very happy to have hoisted my 215 lbs up that high thirty times. This one was one of the more fun ones because of all the coaching (Josh, Ken, Chris L, and Buzzard) and the encouragement from everyone. Buzzard did it in like 8:20, Derrick was slowed by being my partner and by never having attempted that many and still managed a solid 11:00, and Scorcho showed out at like 13:17. My time was 12:37. If there is a next time (can't touch my wrists to the desk) I hope to improve my time.

I don't get to make it to GSX as much since the kiddo has landed, but I couldn't miss todays 30 muscle up workout. I had a blast today doing the workout and partnering with Raif. I needed raif and Buzzards encourgement to get through that workout. That was my first time doing 30 and I am still stoked. The crew at GSX is great and I hope to make some more workouts soon.

Did my first muscle up yesterday and did a total of 3. Was going to try the 30 and could not even get 1 during the WOD. Did the 120/120 and hated it. I am truly feeling it today. Will have the MU the next time this WOD comes up.
