Greetings all,You are receiving this email to confirm your status as a volunteer for the Southwest Regional CrossFit Games Qualifier at Hell's Half Acre, May 2nd and 3rd, 2009. This email will also be the first of several scheduled updates prior to the Qualifier.
On behalf of Tucker, Jeremy Thiel, and Dutch, we are honored to have you all on board. Your offer and efforts will help make this the best Qualifying Event in the world.
As of this writing, our event has sold out all available competitor spots, and we are now identifying and assigning staff positions. A volunteer briefing has been scheduled at GSX on Friday, May 1st at 6pm, just prior to the Social Dinner. The briefing will cover specific assignments, judging/movement standards, the three selected WODs, medical plan, etc.
We want to make certain that each of you get the opportunity to watch and support your friends, and loved ones compete, and we will spare no effort to make sure that happens.
We now have two things to ask of you.
Item one, we need your t-shirt size for your staff shirt.
Item two, we need more volunteers, particularly those willing to judge. Please spread the word.
