I was running a little late this morning but was very glad to parlay my recent kayaking weekend into a solid 3:30 Concept 2 Rower finish in the 1K row. My lungs were surprisingly stressed, given that I think I am in decent shape. I wasn’t doubled over like the time me and my friend Zeke had to push start the decrepit van of our odd German driver over a long stretch of remote Spanish roadway. We were hitching a ride to the south of Spain and she and the van seemed like our best option. I was a little out of shape back then and inexplicably smoking cigarettes at the time. Our driver was nuts and driving to Portugal to end global thermonuclear war. Not sure if she is the reason, but after 20+ years it seems to be working out. Oh yes, I finished the workout today in 10:22. 75 sit ups, 150 squats, 75 sit ups. I think this WOD should be dedicated to Suzanne Somers and her Thigh Master.
I'm Dying!!!!!! So wanted to todays WOD, but unfortunately on second rest day after my back went out on the forth round of the deadlift,burpee WOD.... Getting a littl better tho, patience is NOT anywhere in my vocab!!!!!!! hopefully "back" in action soon!!!!! He he :(
