Just wanted to let everyone know that Sara delivered Lola Izadora Rice on Sunday morning at 12:59am. 5lbs 7 oz. 19 inches. Both mom and baby are doing well and we are going home today. Lola came a little early. She was in labor for one hour and pushed for 20 minutes and out came Lola. All natural......crossfit works.
"Just wanted to let everyone know that Sara delivered this last weekend. We hope to see you guys soon. She was in labor for an hour and only pushed for 20 minutes. Crossfit was a factor in that I am sure.
Lola was born at 12:59am on May 31, 2009. She weighs 5.68 lbs and is 19 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great."
WOD today was great. It was good to have Travis there to push me. press: 135#x5, 145#x5, 145#x5. The weight felt good and had it gone down to 1 rep I think that I could have set a new PR, in theory at least. HSPU:24,15,12. Travis just HAD to get one more than me on those too! Great job today!

5x65,5x65,5x65 - need to work on form, can't get my head through!
Held handstand position 1min 10sec. Arms shaking like noodles!
Kristy knocked out the HSPU like it was nothing. Impressive!

Great class today. 5x135 5x145 3x145-finished off the last 2 after a short break. 7, 6, on the HSPU's then held for 1:08....and fell on my head.
Yep, I am already feeling my traps and shoulders. I think tomorrow might be pretty awful.

Congratulations on baby Lola! Boy, I wish I'd known about crossfit 8-9 years ago! Whew!

Why, thank you tucker! not many people call me precious or an angel anymore!
Ava, I think Tucker actually called you an angle. On the bright side, you can assume he meant an acute angle.... hahaha. math jokes are awesome.
Also, congrats to the Rice family! Fantastic.

Congratulations Derrick and Sara! Here's hoping Lola sleeps and eats as easily as she came out.
