Went with 115 lbs. Finished in 12 minutes flat. Wondered why everyone else was so far behind me. After a nice break and a drink of water, realized we had 5 rounds, not 3! Back to the rack....
It's ok Brandon...we were all kind of dazed this am. I paused for a while trying to figure out if I'd done 4 or 5...judging by others decided to do another.
20:43
Used 70 then swapped to 55 on the pp only then on last round bumped pp up to 65
the time has come... Game 1. For y'all not playing come out and support your fellow crossfitters in the trenches tonight 8:45 at gateway park, field #3. You know you don't have anything better to do, so you might as well come out get rowdy and drink a beer or seven with us.
Hit the batting cages today. OUCH! Tough with torn hands and sore everything (after yesterday's wod). Ryan thought I did amazing, of course he usually watches Rachel bat, so any contact is good in his eyes. Lots of fun, but pretty sure I'll end up taking a few wiffle bat shots (one for every out caused). Representing with the cutoff jeans and crazy socks though!
That was a good workout this morning. Kind of dig the sumo dead lift high pull more and more each day...so exotic. Think I finished with 21:20 or so with 95# throughout.
Oh man I am so ready for the softball game. It sounds like people are practicing going to the batting cages (good job Ali) and throwing the ball around. I havent played baseball in years like 8 and I have never played softball. Oh god, I just hope I dont suck!
Josh, We will not forget your attention to my individual and unique (a.k.a. weak and overweight) needs. Thanks for pushing me and looking out for Alaina. Our hike across the Grand Canyon was one of the best vacations ever. The ease and comfort level of our hike was a direct result of your training and encouragement. Thanks for starting us on the right foot with Crossfit and Good luck!
Jason & Alaina
P.S. Try putting that truck in 4 wheel drive and get-r-dirty just once!
Good thing Carly called him out for being a wussy and only doing 115#, even better that she didn't call me out b/c I feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck.

Used 115# instead of the 135# since shoulders were smoked from yesterdays HSPU fest. 17:21.

BTW...congratulations to Mr. M.A. Deavers. I saw what "Linda" is on the main site. If you can do that, in my book, that is elite fitness.
